Is a warehouse job hard help!?

A warehouse job is not necessarily difficult. If the weather is hot, dress in cotton and drink water regularly throughout the day. Tile is heavy, and because of that it usually comes in small boxes. Most boxes are moved with hand trucks. If tile is on a pallet, it will be moved with a pallet truck or forklift. Loose tiles (and thin stones) are usually set on edge when moved, and wedged between other items so they can't fall over. If the tile is boxed there is usually direction on the box for stacking. You will also likely handle mortar which may be heavier than the tile. You are likely to only have to lift and load smaller purchases. The first two links below show how to lift boxes and bags. If you haven't done any lifting you are going to get sore and stiff. The third link gives advice on warming up which you can do at home before work. Don't be pressed into lifting more than you are able. A back injury will haunt you for the rest of your life.

A warehouse job usually requires the use of a forklift or handtruck. You'll also have to lift at least 70 lbs of weight at a time and by yourself.

Go for the job and try it that is the only way to find out. Once you get into the work if you find that something is hard to do ask other workers if there is an easier way.
