I have a small succulent about 3 inches tall. It is in a 2 part clay vase. I lift the top part to pour water into the bottom half. I recently got liquid fertilizer for it because spring is here. My plant can suck up the water, but I've noticed that the old water is discolored from the fertilizer. I'm not even sure if the cactus is even absorbing the fertilizer. I do have a water spray bottle I could put the fertilizer in, but I don't know about that idea. I would like tips to make my plant happier and healthier.
