Everything is a chemical. We're surrounded by chemicals all the time. If you want to determine the safety of a chemical you would need to know what specific chemical you are talking about. The health effects of chemicals, if any, vary widely, by type of chemical and your exposure to it.
Whether it is "stagnate" or not should not have any bearing on it's relative safety, unless the chemical in discussion is breaking down or reacting with some other substance.
If you want some actual information, you could probably get the name of what is in the mattress off of the tag and look it up.
I have a foam mattress and it is horrible it makes me so hot that my legs get restless. I would never buy one again or recommend one to anybody
Nope, it's poison.
Major manufactures of bedding use some gel that supposedly helps regulate temperature etc and im sure somebody somewhere 'approved' of it however chemicals are typically NOT safe to be near especially when they are stagnate for years.
Any factual thoughts on the materials used or other observations are appreciated.
Thank you.
