Get a sample can of the yellow you like from the store. Paint a big swatch of your bedroom wall and see if you like it, then go from there. My painting rule of thumb is, if it makes people happy (in this case, you :D), it works!

Yes I think it is a color that never goes out of style.Many other colors can be used with it so you can change the bedding to blues, reds, orange, green, and of course yellow. I love the latest trend of yellow and gray - so nice.
