Yes. If the glass breaks you are in trouble. then when it goes to the landfill it leaches into the ground. Why these are allowed anywhere is beyond me.

Im thinking of changing the entire house structure and switching to new light bulbs. My close friend suggested me to use CFL instead of the normal bulbs, I want to know if the mercury in CFLs is dangerous?
