Major Mice problem?

A single female produces between 5-10 litters annually. Each litter consist of 5-6 young that are able to reproduce at approximately 30 days of age. At this rate you can see that in a short time you can have a real mouse problem. If you don't take severe steps they will make your house unlivable. Set the old fashion kill type of traps, use peanut butter for bait. Your stuff in the bottom of the closet is ruined, use a dust pan or shovel to shovel it into a trash bag or can. You need to put out poison to get rid of them make sure that pets or children can't get the poison, if you find mouse holes put poison in them. Try to find the type poison that keeps them from stinking when they are dead.

You will not be able to vacuum up the mice as they are too fast and they will walk out of the vacuum if you are able to get some vacuumed up, but not likely you will be able to vacuum them up. They are just too fast. You may be able to catch them with your hand if you are kneeling on the floor with leather cloves on and have reflexes like a fly while moving stuff that they may be hiding in or behind.

Go to the store or hardware store and get your self some dcon and one or two snap traps. beware that the dcon may kill the mice while they are under a cabinet or in a shoe or in a pile of clothes. Snap traps are quick and painless for the mice. Gluetraps work ok because you can catch them live and set them free in some field if mice dont gross you out. But older mice will figure out that the glue traps are something to stay away from. The plastic jaws snap trap will let you dump the mice in the trash or in a hole in the back yard with out touching the mice. The plastic jaw traps come with liquid bait to put in the trap trigger but don't work as well as cheese. The cheese will be a tiny piece smooshed down into the circle to prevent the mouse from running off with the cheese.

Clean your room, keep your room clean and buy Decon and place around your room.

For the past weeks I've been having a mouse problem in my home, however we didnt take it seriously at first thinking that they would leave after winter. Now I'm sure they've breeded and even though I've told my mom we need to set up traps she's still not taking it seriously, probably because of the fact that the mice are centered around in my room and she would rather tease me for it than help out.

I'll admit my room was messy, but just tonight I've cleaned it, and it's even worse than before because now I can really see them running around. So now I'm stressed and down to tears and I really don't know what to do anymore.

Please I would really like to have some advice and tips on what to do and maybe even some comfort... it's taken me forever to finally come to do this from the embarrassment, but I really cant talk it anymore.

The mice are seem in to be living in my closet, which is packs from years of stuff that my past self has believed "I just may come to need this stuff in the future." I can clean it out but if they're living in there what do I do if I come into contact with them? Can I vacuum mice?
