most are sewn on commercial-grade upholstery sewing machines, use foam as base that's cut or molded on special machines

My team and I in school are starting up a mini company. We've researched our ideas and we are interested in making chair cushions for schools and homes. We have searched through a lot of sites but can't seem to find reliable answers.

How much would a cushion cost to design and make ourselves (students in high school) versus getting a company to design and make cuishions for us.
