I'd have to imagine that as long as the pool walls are level (straight up and down) there shouldn't be any side loading on the pool. And you're talking 1 1/2 inches over 15feet. That's 180 inches. With that slope you're looking at 1 inch per 120 inches (10 feet). That's GOT to be within tolerance.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. But if it breaks - it'll probably be covered under whatever warranty it has.

that's exactly what i mean Tony. the ground is very slightly uneven. we never noticed it until we installed pool and began filling it. so the water is 1.5 inches to 1.8 inches higher one side than the other side.
we put up a 15 foot by 48 inch pool (Bestway brand). measured water today and its off by 1.5 inches on one side. i know the dangers of it getting anymore "off" but whats "acceptable"? i can't find any info on the website and there isn't anything in directions.
