Have you seen the doorknob on the front door of your house? Buy one of those. It won't cost more than $30 for a decent one.
you could replace the doorknob and then replace it back with the old one when you move out, its really a matter of unscrewing and screwing some screws lol... if not there are many desks that have locks
Ok.. So i'm going to move into my stepdads house with my mom and he has 3 kids. 1 who loves to steal all of my stuff and 1 who loves to come into my room for no reason and come in to just fart and annoy me. I'm going to keep a candy stash in here and some food in a mini fridge because i need sugar every once in a while ( blood sugar wise and craving wise) and i also need food in here so that i don't get sick from not eating because sometimes i have random times where i wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning and i will be too dizzy to go downstairs and i will need food sooo yea. I need a lock that locks indoor and out because
1. I don't want my food being stolen
2. I don't want my precious things getting stolen
3. I need privacy because i am a teen..
Please do not tell me to sit down and have a talk with them because if i do they won't listen and they'll go "tattle" on me for accusing them of stealing. I am not accusing them i do have proof that they have stolen my things and my mother has seen the one specific child steal things too so i'm not being unreasonable or anything ???? It also needs to be pretty cheap. Under $60 dollars. I've done a ton of research and i haven't found anything other than gate locks that lock inside and out. Oh btw im in a rental house for about a year-ish so if anybody could find ways to lock it inside and out easily without replacing the door knob that would be great ???? Please help!! ???? p.s. Sorry for the super long question!
