Need privacy on apartment patio..any ideas?

They just developed some houses behind us and all of our new neighbors can see us on our deck now. We took a bamboo plant from our garden and put it in a large pot on our deck. This is good screen and it's nice to hear the bamboo moving back and forth when the wind is blowing.

You should be able to purchase bamboo or hedge at your local garden store. Then plant it in a pot if it doesn't already come in one. This can be expensive and you could also look at getting a bamboo curtain. The kind that people use to block the sun when it's hot.

No, no other ideas. Doubtful you can put up any kind of privacy wall if this is a rental.

Why wouldn't you know where to find live or artificial plants?

Live plants can be found in any nursery - plant store. You would need to take care of them as dead or dying plants look awful.

Artificial ones can be found at Michaels or Joanns. I've seen them at Target and Walmart as well. Individual ones are not that spendy. However, a dozen at one time could be. You could buy one or two at a time.

My patio is bottom floor..very wide and very exposed. No plants or shrubbery around it. I'm literally on display for about 6 neighbors (our apartments are arranged in a circular shape). Im the only one without plants and shrubs covering mine. What can I do? The only idea I could come up with is to put large plants in a straight line all the way down. But I figure that is really expensive plus I don't even know where to find cheap live or artificial plants..any other ideas?
