If you have any shelves or storage bins, make use of them. High shelves should probably be used for things you want to keep and see but don't really need to use, like trophies, figurines, collectible items, etc. Keep all your things that go together in the same spot. like pens and paper on your desk (or a drawer if you don't have one) books on a shelf or in a bin, or whatever.
Figure out what you want to keep on dresser tops. You probably should keep any jewelry or hair accessories there, or anything else you use almost every day since it's easy to get at. You could also keep important items like photos on there.
If you have things like scarves, purses, hats, or other things you can hang, get hooks at the dollar store. You can probably find a small bulletin board there or a craft store if you have some small pictures or ticket stubs you want to hang.
If your closet has shelves, use them for things like shoes, boxes with certain types of clothing like socks or pants, or things like board games. make sure all your clothes are in certain spots, like pants in one spot, shirts in another, anything that has to be hung up has a hanger (you can usually get those at the dollar store too)
Good luck cleaning up!
start out with cleaning out your closet and organize everything there then move to other parts of your room for you may find some empty space in your closet
alright so, my room has been quite a mess for awhile & myself & parents parents hate it. my room is quite small which makes it seem more cluttered & messy, also it's a bit harder to clean. i have a hard time focusing & i have procrastinated for too long. i have to sort clothes, pack stuff away & do yard sale stuff, & redecorate in less than a month! & also my closet is just scary probably. i don't understand why i can't get myself to clean my room when i'm usually very organized. i just want it clean as properly & quickly as possible.
any tips would be very very helpful!
thankss.
