Plumbing Question?

If your house is on a foundation as opposed to concrete slab it is easy to extend a gas line. Even if gas line runs overhead it is easy to find a joint, undo it and add a union or coupling so you can run where you want down the wall. Determine the height for the shut off valve, cut a square hole in the drywall about a foot square, drop pipe down and then 90 degree elbow out of the wall, a nipple of length needed to extend out beyond finished wall material [usually drywall] add a shut off valve. Usually gas supply is 1/2 inch black iron pipe. Attach yellow flex gas line from shut off valve to stove. Be certain as you do this the shut off and flex permit the stove to get close to the wall, otherwise use a 90 elbow again so shut off is parallel to the wall. Test all new joints with soapy water. Also with all gas appliance shut off, even pilot for water heater watch the trickle meter on your gas meter to discover leaks.

Plumbing: Not only will you need to move water supply but the drain as well.

On outside wall: if you live in a place where it freezes think twice. Among other reasons having plumbing on an inside wall.... prevents frozen pipes.

Window above bathroom sink: Are you planning to have a mirror somewhere? Generally in that scenario there is a wall with space for a mirror directly behind a bathroom sink and that is flanked on both sides by windows.

Either or, more than likely it is a suder vent being that its a kitchen. Through the floor you will lose some more storage space, through the wall you will be drilling studs to re route. If you come through floor, come in the back left corner that way you can pick up your disposal and other drain with a suder vent and it will give the most space to be utilized.

Ha, just noticed I never said it was my Kitchen Sink, yeah the Kitchen sink is what I would be moving, would like a view when I am doing dishes lol.

Through the wall, would be my preference.

I am looking to relocate my plumbing from one wall to another. The wall it is currently on has the bathroom on the other side, the wall I want ot move it to is to the outside, which i also plan on putting a window above the sink. The sink sits right next to the stove, when I bought the house last year I already told myself I was moving one or the other, I chose the sink as I did not want to mess with moving a gas line.

Would I need to put the plumbing inside the wall or could i just run it up through the floor?
