Gah! Sad. But what we did when we found them in our house was put the nest in a box, and take them down to a local farm supply store. They had feeder mice that had just had babies about the same size, and they just put the baby mice in with them. The mom took care of them like they were hers. If you find a place that sells feeder mice, it's very likely that in the back room they have babies.
Hi, Richmond Girl again. Have a question? I have been invaded with mice and one of the females had babies (pinkies) I didn't really know how to get rid of them and didn't want them to grow up into adult mice. So, what I did was took the nest out on the sidewalk and dumped them a squashed them under my shoe. Does anyone have any other ideas?
