Your coke bottles - you could possibly hang from the ceiling but put them in groups of say 5 - always have odd numbers when putting them into a group and make them different heights - this will make them look more appealing.
Your bedding could be in black and white check - which they used to have a lot of black white check borders on the wall and black and white tiles on the floors of the 50's American Diners. I would also get your curtains in the black and white check too - to match with your bed linen. Sheets, can then be white.

Well, I hope I have given you food for thought and you like my idea - I thought it would be something different :)
I would recommend some great pillow in lime greens and teal blues. Maybe some great geometric patterns. Pattern texture and color can add so much to a room and you can get all of those things in a fabric.

Ok, so i am a guy who would really preferred to have lived in the 1950s because i like the style. Lately my room has been really messy and i realized i wanted to redo my room. After 2 painful weekends of throwing away and reorganizing things i decided to make it the 50s. I have come up with a few ideas: old crosley radio. old telephone. 50s lamp and chair. white/beige wall. already have small bunkbed. hanging old 45s on my wall. pictures of famous artists, car ads, coke signs, and newspapers. Also if i have extra space a small little lounge like a mini couch and a coffee table. That is all i have please help me with ideas like bedspreads or carpets and if you have a better idea then i have said please by all means say your opinions also help with some curtains or something. Oh and lastly if you have any pics that match my description or anything that could help me decide. Thanks again.
