I have never heard of this cedar thing before for getting rid of roaches. I got a pack of four electronic insect repellers and they work a treat. They give a sound that can only be heard by bugs and small rodents.(not cats or dogs. They change frequency every few minutes so the bugs can't get used to the sound. I plugged one into a palls house as he had an ant problem. Immediately, the ants began to disperse. When it was unplugged, they were back again. I let him keep hold of it for a few weeks until they were gone for good. I had a problem with massive spiders, but nothing at all now. You can get electronic repellers at most stores. Give them a try.

Hi everyone. My mom bought me some cedar blocks for the roach problem I am facing at this apartment I just moved into. But she got me lavender scented cedar on accident. Does the scent really matter? Is there any chance they will live the lavender scent? thank you
