Is there anything I can do?

I scratched a bit of paint of in a line about 3 inches, and it's been painted about 6 months ago.

use a fine filler, this can be obtained at a local d i y outlet

and smooth with a plastic card, allow to dry and even out with fine sandpaper,

then touch up with similar paint.
