Should i remove the wasp nest after killing them?

I thought that i could kill all wasps and leave the nest there to act as a fake nest to discourage new wasps from trying to move in. Is this a good idea?

remove the nest. As soon as you see another one being built, spray it with a garden hose. Do that 3 or 4 days in a row, and the wasps will give up. They don,t like water or rain around their nests.

They only think a little bit and what they think is "Hmmm somebody built here. "

Soak the nest with wasp spray, and give it about 20 minutes just until things calm down. Then take the broom and knock it down. I have forgotten to knock them down before and others eventually took over. Good luck!
