Small Bedroom Help?

I am in a shared house situation I wasn't in before. I got a very small end table (about 10 by 15) and hung a mirror over it. That's my makeup place. You will probably want a small chair for a guest or yourself. Maybe a desk. It would help to know the dimensions of the room. I suggest you get some graph paper, where one square equals one foot. Make furniture outlines with it and draw the room on it. Cut out the furniture and place in in different positions. DOn't be afraid to put the bed in front of a window. Get some nice breezes that way and no sun/moon in your eyes.

When I was in college I would put a cinderblock under each corner of my bed (you can also buy plastic things that do this) it made quite a bit of extra space under the bed to keep things. Perhaps you can skip the dresser and just put some storage system under your bed. Then a small vanity would work for your makeup.

see if the dresser will fit into the closet that would free up some space in the room for a small desk that could double as a make up table

You can arrange your all accessories into the room. If you have table with huge a mirror over it so it will be your make-up place. I will suggest you that you should use slider door and windows so you will able to get more spaces in your room. I have purchased the doors and windows from NorthView Windows and Doors Inc.

It would help if we knew your budget and what typem of decore you like..

Enjoy your new room.

I'm 15 (girl) and moving in a few weeks which means I'm finally getting my own room. I'm extremely grateful I get my own space but the room is extremely small. I'm having trouble imagining the furniture I have/want in the room. I have always kept my makeup in my bathroom because I was only sharing with my sister, but now that there is only one bathroom so I have to keep my makeup in my room (so I was going to get a longer, shorter dresser I can do my makeup over.) I also have a twin sized bed and small nightstand to go in the room, however I'm having trouble arranging this all in the small room. Oh, and there is a closet too I can keep the majority of my clothes in. Any ideas?
