My step son moved in with us and all we had was a very small bedroom for him. We built the bed on stilt-like lumber and used plywood for his bed space. We added a good mattress and put a few finishing touches to make it look nice. This freed up all of the space on the floor. He put his desk and computer under his bed and it fit very nicely. We built shelves and every piece of furniture in his room served more than one purpose. He had a small table and the top came off which gave him a lot of room for books, etc.

I suggest you go to Pintrest and look for ideas for very small rooms. I bet you could find some there. Good luck.

Okay, I have searched the internet high and low for space saving decor for my bedroom.

I am sixteen so would want a 'grown-up' bedroom. The room is about 8ft 3" in width, 7ft 9" Length and is 6ft 6" in height, I do not have an awful lot of money and there is no way that I am able to get a pull down bed, I did think of knocking down one of the walls (seeing as I am in the basement) but my parents think that it would cost way too much money and there is a chance that I will not be able to dig down to the foundations far enough. Please please give me any ideas as I am becoming stressed with the fact that I have no space for ANYTHING that I want in my room.
