shelves are the best for books, dvds, ornaments anything that can be attached to a wall to put stuff on so that it doesn't take up space on the floor and makes the room feel small, a cabin bed is a good idea or have you considered a bunk bed? having your desk underneath your bed frees up so much space.

We built my stepson a platform loft. That freed up most of his sleeping area and we were able to put his desk in and some small cabinets where his bed would have been if we hadn't built the loft. It was a good way to use the small amount of space we had.

I have a very small bedroom, I'm the youngest so only fair! But I have built in wardrobes in a good condition which hold a lot of my stuff! Which I need! They were there when we moved in. I need more storage room though! But how? I was thinking a bed, like a cabin bed but I'm quite tall so I'll get too long for it. Ideas??
