Consider chalk board paint. You literally paint a blackboard onto your wall. I did this in my daughters room. We painted the ceiling blue, the upper half of her walls a bright green, the whole bottom part of the walls with the chalkboard paint (which is black of course) and then accented it with purple curtains and carpeting, and little accessories in all the colors we used. She LOVES the chalkboard paint because she can draw anything she wants up there and leave it for as long as she likes, and can change it whenever she wants. You have to be cool with black walls for this of course, but you could always just do one accent wall. Just make sure you pick a nice bright color on the rest of the walls so the black doesn't look too gothic, unless that's the goal. Have fun :)

Ooooo I am so excited to help you! I myself am 16 and love to decorate my girly room : )

My suggestions would be

- Get a white shaggy rug to match your zebra print bed cover

- Leave the lanterns! ( they are so cute)

- Get things that make your room, like different pillows, pictures etc. because that is what really puts a room together to look finished.

- A black wall is very very dark and hard to change from it. Try a "feature wall" with the colour black and maybe order a wall sticker online! : )

- add a bean bag - They are comfy and match a hippie/boho room.

- white furniture because then you can colour code it with chair covers and all that to make it more colourful, good luck : )

I'm moving house in two weeks and I'm allowed to do whatever I want with my room so I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions on what I should do?

I don't want anything tooo permanent because Ill get bored and want to change it after a coupe of months.

Here's some things I'm into and would like to incorporate -

? I want to be able to use any bed spread and not have it look funny
