I've used a bunch of the cheap ones and am not thrilled with any of them. I would go on line to your Agricultural Extension Service and find how to send soil samples. It is a free service and you only pay postage on the samples if close you can bring them there. They will send you an accurate report.

You get what you pay for, so you'll have to decide if you want cheap or reliable, you can't have both.

I've seen these at prices from $8-$80. I am looking for something reliable. I need no bells and whistles.

Please only recommend testers you yourself have experience with.
