Trim, nail holes noticeable?

You spackle the holes and buff them smooth to match the surrounding material, then prime and paint the entire trim.

You heard it, the whole thing. You won't find a perfect match for the existing color, color mixes vary subtly from one batch to another. To ensure a good color match, have your own white mixed up and paint all your trim at the same time, to the exact same color. Then your nail holes should all be nicely covered and no worries about color mismatches.

Yes, it's more work than you were looking for. But this is what a good result will require.

There's nail holes on my white door trim and there very noticeable because I painted a little too much white satin paint on It and now there's glossy spots on the trim

The trim is the white, primed trim you can buy at lowes and it's already white

How can I get the exact match color to repair the trim?
