Should have cancelled the Bank Holiday order and bought it on the 13th.
reputable stores will refund you the difference if an item the was on sale, goes even less
but many furniture places are final sale and can do whatever they want
On Saturday 3rd May we went into Harveys Furniture Store to look around at sofa's. We didnt have in mind of buying, just looking. However like you do, we came across one we like which was in a Bank Holiday Sale which ended on Tuesday 6th May. The offer was if you buy 2 of the same brand you'd save 50% off both sofa's (so in theory 2 for 1) It stated that after the event it would go back up to full price which was £1498 each. We didnt want to lose out and decided to buy 2 x 2 seaters, total price £1498. On Wednesday 7th when the price was meant to go back up to full price i see it was now £749 each so basically the same deal we got.. This inst the end, on Tuesday 13th i check again to show the misses and its now been reduced to £561 each!!
I just want to know if we have been mis sold as the sale said after the event it would go up but never did and then a couple of days later goes down even more. Meaning we didnt actually need to buy it then and could've waited to get the better price. I feel we were pushed into a sale which never ended in the first place!!
Please help!!
