I'd probably go with a little darker pop colour. Like a maroon or a terracotta. With the black grey and white the room might seem a little cold. Accenting with something in the cool colour scheme will only perpetuate the effect. I'd go with an accent that a warmer colour yet toned down so it doesn't accost the senses when you walk in the room.

They have a red rug, a purple and black rug, and they also have one that is purple, red, and blue which I just love.

I recently moved to a new place and bought all new furniture this is my couch http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/70087108/ and this is my tv table http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/50228034/ and i have the smaller coffee table and side table of the same collection I want to do the grey (sofas), black (tables) and white problably vases colour themes but i want a pop of colour. My house is open concept the dining room goes right into the living room and the kitchen is goes into the the dining room except for a little wall between and the kitchen is in white grey and blue. so I was thinking about carrying it through to the dining room and living room. But I was also thinking black white and red for the dining room because someone told me red stimulates hunger and digestion and if i did that carrying it through to the living room. I was also thinking grey, white, black and purple for the living room though. What are your favorite colour combinations?
