If it will fit into your washing machine wash it on 30C on it's own. If it's really bad wash it twice. Do it on a hot day and it will dry ok and be resurrected. I use Ecover liquid as the washing process starts straightaway.
You can get it steamed cleaned and have it re-whipped if need be. Good luck
I've had a rug for about 2 years and now it's got loads of crap stuck in it and it's all matted but I don't want to see it go in the bin I've tried to think of things to do with it and I can't think of anything I've loooked online also and found nothing it's similar to this one
