Gray is very popular right now. You could go with an accent wall of a darker gray with lighter on the other walls. If you want color, you could go with a light Tangerine or a Lavender.
I would pick the back splash, counters and floors first before deciding.
At least someone has some class nowadays.

The units are light mahogony. Worktops black. I need to get new floor covering too. I like light and bright but dont think the room is suitable for that.
