If you are thinking of something similar to that in terms of a color scheme, I would go with light blue on all but one of your walls. Then, you can have the wall behind your bed be an accent wall with a different color and pattern. Since you were thinking of gray stripes on a white background, I would lean towards making that your accent wall. The chevron pattern looks like this: http://allthingslovely.typepad.com/.a/6a... This way, you get a "wow" factor when you walk into the room, but it is clean and simple; not too much is going on. The reason I wouldn't want to include a black wall is because I would find it too dark and not very inviting. But do what you want -- it's your room! Good luck!

i've always wanted to paint my whole room black... honestly...

a week ago, my dad felt obliged to repaint my room because it looked dirty in some spots here and there... would never had been the case if it was black to begin with.

its only paint ....paint it the way you feel....and if you change your mind repaint it again.

hey so we got our house renovated and im getting my room painted. what colour should it be? im planning light blue on two walls (something like AConMann's "How To Take Selfies" youtube video on 0:07. lmao haha), black on the wall where my bed would be and white with gray strips for the door wall. im not sure tho whether i should do ombre on the blue wall or just keep it plain. what do ya think?
