What is the difference between villa and bungalow?

A bungalow is a type of building. Across the world, the meaning of the word bungalow varies. But A villa was originally an ancient Roman upper-class country house. Since its origins in the Roman villa, the idea and function of a villa have evolved considerably.

Villa will be comparatively small and will not be having more luxuries things inside. But bungalow will be huge and luxurious.

Adeeb has things backward.

I disagree with Adeeb completely. A villa is usually more of an estate (dwelling plus surrounding grounds). It is usually in the countryside or seaside. A bungalow is usually a smaller dwelling on a smaller property and is often a small living quarters associated with a nearby larger house.
