Do you like the tile or are you trying to make it visually neutral? I once had to choose wall color for a kitchen with intense, deep green counters; I chose a deep, cayenne orange; it's impact was so dramatic that you hardly noticed the tile anymore!
Is the bathroom used to put on make-up? If so, intense colors will change the lighting; applying make-up may be difficult.
Personally, I like my bathroom to feel like a spa sanctuary (can do in apartment OR mansion).
To that end, I'd paint the walls a warm, medium gray or a very gray gray-blue. Keep the ceiling, moulding, and other things white. Add a white bath mat and accessories with teal in them (towels, a picture, sink accessories). If your cabinet hardware is gold-toned, I'd change to silver-toned.
Light some candles, add aromatherapy (reed diffuser or potpourri) , and voi'la!
Here are some links to wall art from bed bath and beyond. Just choose a picture or two that you like and then pick a color out of the picture. If you matched a gray or a yellow/beige color from these pics it would all blend together well.

yellow , orange, if you want to be wild
soft blue or white if you want to be safe
I have a bathroom with teal tiles on the floor and white tiles in the bath tub shower area. The rest of the bathroom is pretty much white as well. What colour should I paint the walls? It looks really plain being all white but I can't think of a colour that wouldnt clash with the dark teal tiles on the floor. The shade of teal is similar to this: http://www.buildbase.co.uk/content/images/kbt/tiles_new/vivid_teal.jpg
Can you please recommend colours and maybe link pictures as well? Thanks
