I live in FL and we seem to have roaches year-round despite how clean our house is. They could come in your home to be warm or because the weather outside isn't their preference in general. For example, if it's raining too much, they'll flock inside. Honestly, the thing that seems to deter them the most is to keep some sort of light in the kitchen. We use a string of Christmas lights. They hate it!

Sometimes, I don't always get to clean up my house and it can get pretty messy-terribly messy! lol usually, I know roaches will come in during the winter to get warm, but don't they come in during those hot nights too? I live in GA btw.

****reason I am asking is because during the winter, I make sure to at least wipe off the bars because I seem to see more during that period of time when it is cold. But, I can't remember if during the summer they flock in or not?
