I live with someone who works night shift so we need window shades to keep it dark during the day while they sleep. Our apartment complex requires any curtains/window coverings to be white though. I can't find any window shades or any form of window covers that are black on the inside and white on the outside. Having an all white window shade wouldn't really keep out that much sun. Does anybody know where I could find this type of window shade?

You need something with "black out" liners or shades (they are carried by all kinds of manufacturers) BUT back out curtains shades etc are actually creamish/white, not actually black.
