I don't know what size you are looking for, but the price ranges from $295 to $450 (Twin to King). There is a 2-3 week lead time and shipping charges would apply. But honestly, by the time you have scoured all the local stores, you will probably have spent just as much time and still not found something this durable. The whole bed frame is a made of Ash wood (which is a hardwood), including the slats... most bed frames out there use press-board for the slats which is less durable and full of chemicals. This bed frame comes unassembled, but is very easy to put together. The attachment is metal-to-metal (the bolts screw into a metal thumb-nut, not into wood), which means that it can be taken apart and put back together without damaging the frame at all. The slats give your mattress plenty of ventilation while still providing proper support. I love it :)
So I have a mattress in my new apartment but my box spring and frame did not fit up the stairs so I now need to get something to put my mattress on. I went to sleepy's and another local furniture place but I'm trying to not spend much.
I need something just to raise my mattress off the floor, I have bins that I want to be able to put under the bed so it can't be low. I don't want a box spring and I need something that is collapsable or I can build from a box since the stairs are tight.
Any ideas? Looking online hasn't helped. Tight budget and need it soon. The piece at sleepy's is $349 and it doesn't require a box spring but I'm not sure
