It grows in the soil. Usually it prefers to grow in a secured and protected area. It grows while being watched and given water. The person or people who plants it is usually someone who is self-employed, meaning Growing Pot. They are people who don't want to work and don't care about the lives of others who lose their lives to drugs and the influence it has had on kids, suicide, murder,etc. I don't think you would want to find it. It grows everywhere in flower pots, basements, motor homes, barns, etc.

Tennessee used to be the second largest grower of MJ, but it's still illegal to possess any amount of any part of any cannabis plant. Anyone caught in possession of over 300 pounds is looking at STATE prison for up to 60 years, and who-knows-what federal time.
Out around Dyersburg, there are tons of it growing in the woods. Only a few of us know about it and we can't hope to smoke up all of it. Come on down.
its very hard to find marijuana growing wild in America. usually if find some in the woods, somebody planted it there and you but get outta there quick before youre dead, but usually you find it near creeks or streams, in an open area where it can get sunlight.
One thing you really should know is that where cannabis grows wild, there are typically even wilder drug farmers with weapons keeping an eye on it.
