You're the one who has to live in the dorm and use the bedding, not your mom. If you really don't like what she got, just tell her. I'm sure she'll understand. Also, I would highly advise not buying bedding because it has Lauren Conrad's name on it. No one is going to know who made your bedding or ask probably so it doesn't matter that much.

All the bedding I am finding for college is either childish, cheap looking, or very expensive. My mom bought the target bedding (link below) in turquoise for me, and I really like it, but I feel like all the diys I wanted to do would look out of place. I have been wanting this Lauren Conrad bedding for a while and now it is on sale, but that would mean returning all the stuff she bought for my dorm.:/ I do like both, but I feel like I like the Lauren Conrad bedding a little more because it has Lauren Conrad's name on it, Which do you think is better?
