I can tell you why I (to this day) have posters on my walls. When I was a child I had posters that came with some of my favorite books. As a teen, I had my 'heart-throb's, favorite bands and animals. In my adult years, I've found beautiful imagery that I can easily afford to matte and frame. I generally want to know why you put posters up. I am specifically talking about posters in your bedroom or even college dorm room. Honestly, I have never thought about it. I don't have a single poster up anywhere in my house. Me nor my younger brother have any posters at all. I just don't feel the need or desire what-so-ever to put up a poster. I've seen some awesome images on poster but I have no desire to put it on my wall. Walls are just that to me. Walls. I understand furniture like a desk, couch, coffee table, ect. but literally I just don't understand why people put posters up. Lets say you like a movie like "Scarface" so you put up a Scarface poster. Why? To remind you that you like the movie? If I like something, I'm not going to forget that I like it. I know this sounds dumb but I just want to hear to people, strictly for the sake of satisfying curiosity. I still have no desire to put posters on my wall. But that is just me. Let me hear from you!
