That is really neat, 1745!!!!!! People that live near fields and some times woods close to the house seem to have that sort of problem. Check on Amazon, maybe home depot for some sort of bait that kills them. I was in walmart today checking out stuff you can spray around your house to get rid of bugs, not sure about spiders. Shop on line before you going driving everywhere.
Clove oil will deter them. I would move out or move rooms as I am terrified of the bloody things!
just burn down the house that usually works
Thats a lot of spiders, and unless there is lots of bugs they are eating, you might 'thin the herd' a bit. Try a vacuum.
House spiders won't bother you at all, and your little fantasies like they will crawl on your face, is likely why you fear them.
Try just getting familiar with them, learn a little about them, and you will quit fearing them.
In all the years I have had spiders in my place, not one has ever been a nuisance.
If anything, they are like little pets that eat pest bugs I like a lot less.
Having a couple about is worth while, but you don't have to have lots of them.
If they don't go away after a while. just use a vacuum.
On average, i find around 20 (fairly big) house spiders a day in my bedroom alone. (we also get them in other rooms of the house, but not as bad.) my bedroom isn't messy and i keep it tidy as much as i can. I'm extremely scared of spiders, and i even moved in with my friend for a while because i was terrified of them in my house. I just don't like the thought of sleeping and a spider crawling in my bed and on my face, even though I'm sure that probably wouldn't ever happen. My house is very old, it was built in 1745 so it might be due to its age, but I just want to know exactly what's causing them and how to get rid of them!
