Why is my tomato plant shriveling up in the sun?

Tomatoes originally come from south american rain forests and as such they need watering virtually every day except when it is cloudy or cool and must not be allowed to dry out. In high summer I water my tomato plants every day.

Do not water the leaves, only the ground around the plant. You're burning the leaves.

Plants droop their leaves in the sun to hold the moisture in them.

Tomatoes need humidity and sunlight combined with water high potassium feed only when soil completely dry (test by poking finger in sojl)

There's a place gardenweb.com that's a good place upload photos there section for everything

make sure you water the plant daily

Start watering more often or longer when you water.

Each morning before the sun comes up over the trees in my backyard, the tomato is green and healthy looking, but as soon as the sun comes up the leaves wither and shrivel. That doesn't make sense because all plants need the sun for photosynthesis . But why does my tomato do that?
