Will cockroaches be in the washer and dryer?

Washing your clothes and drying them will not pick up roaches. The soap and water kills roaches and their eggs. If you take your clothes out of the dryer and put them in your baskets and then go straight to your car, you will not get roaches.

Dirty diapers, sour clothes, greasy and roachcy clothes are washed in laundries.

You have a legitimate fear. Many cockroach infestations start because an unsuspecting person carries roaches from some place else into their homes via grocery bags, boxes, yes even in laundry. If I were you, I would go to a laundromat to wash and dry my clothes until you get your own appliances. Don't carry anything into her house that you will be bringing back to your house, even a purse.

I'm moving to my friends house, but in a separate house on her big property. She has a cockroach problem. I'll be using her wager/dryer into I get a set of my own. I know cockroaches don't like humans, so they won't be by our on us, but I'm having this fear of washing my clothes and bringing cockroaches back to my house.
