It's made to stick on walls and not leave a mark- you can even get some hooks that go on the wall,so you could put your photos in frames.

It can be used, but there are two things to consider: First, if the room gets warm, such as in the summer, the electrical tape may leave an adhesive residue on the wall which can be a pain to clean off. Second, the type of paint used and its age matters. If the wall has recently been painted with a latex based paint, there is a small chance that some of the paint will come off with the tape, especially if the wall wasn't properly prepared before painting. I can't begin to count how many times I've been called in to fix someone else's paint job because the homeowners hired some second rate painters that didn't prep the walls properly before using latex and the stuff started to peel.
It won't, but it probably won't do a very good job of keeping your photos up, either. Try thumbtacks.
FYI -- painter's tape is masking tape. Same thing.
Electrical tape should be fine.
I want to put up some small photos up on my bedroom walls, my dad said not to use scotch, masking, and duct tape. So I was wondering if electrical tape will ruin walls?
I know I should use painters tape, but I don't have any right now.
