Yes and no. Very fitted, Italian and Saville Row inspired fits seem to still be in style. If you bought the db blazer quite a few years back, it's probably a bit more relaxed in the fit. For double breasted, the major modern changes are a shorter length, a slimmer sleeve, higher armholes and more fitted around the waist. If it is a well constructed blazer, it might be worth tailoring it.
Who cares what's in fashion? If you like it wear it. Also plenty of boys/men have pleats in their trousers, the mods do it.
