Yes, as your core heats up and stays heated, that triggers fat burning, especially so in the core region since that's where a lot of those excess fat cells remain stored to help in maintaining body temperature. I'd suggest only wearing one during the cardio portion of your workouts since that's when your body is in constant motion and you'll have a higher core temp. Now, will you notice a difference after one use, probably not (unless you really put that belt on like it was a corset lol), but with regular use (about 3x a week), you should start to notice some of that fat melting away after about 4-6 weeks, though since you're a dude, might be sooner since guys have a much easier time burning fat than chicks do. Give it a try, but definitely pay attention to your body during your cardio workout....as in, if you start to feel lightheaded, your body temp is probably a little too high, so slow to a walk, sip on water, take deep breaths through your nose and out your mouth. You should be ok though :)
