Price, quality and where the earrings were purchased are all clues to authenticity. If they were purchased in the Chanel store or in a Chanel boutique in a high end department store such as Holt Renfrew, Neiman Marcus or other expensive store and paid full price of over 200$ then they are real. If you got them at a flea market, discount store, factory outlet mall, or anywhere other than a Chanel store or Chanel Boutique in a high end department store then they are fake. If they came from a website offering cheap Chanel (along with a whole grab-bag of designer names) for far less than retail price then they are fake. Chanel jewelry is not available anywhere on the web. If they are less than 100$ they are fake. Those huge plastic CC's are fake. The blingy fake gold CC's are fake. If they are on a rack with a bunch of cheap earrings at a discount store they are fake. Most Chanel earrings are fake. The only place to get real ones is from -you guessed it -Chanel stores and Boutiques. Authentic Chanel is sold only through Chanel stores and boutques. Nowhere else. Everything else is fake.
