It doesn't hurt all that bad. Honestly if they use a clamp, the clamp is the worst part because the squeeze your nose really hard with it. But even that's not bad, it kinda takes away the pain of the actual needle going through. Oh and if it helps you, close your eyes when they do it. It helped me A LOT. And when they do it, it's so fast. Under 2 seconds and you're done. I was so scared but I really shouldn't have been. The pain was about a 3 out of 10 for me, but I have a high pain tolerance :) and you won't regret it I promise!
Well yeah. You're stabbing metal into your skin through cartilage. I haven't had it done myself (but I will) but I have a lot of friends who have and say its just like have the cartilage in your ear done. Also, every single person's pain scale is different so you can't ask what it feels like on a scale like that.

Yes it hurts but not for long. It feels like you got bopped in the nose, if you have ever been accidentally hit there. The worse part is healing because it takes a while to heal and can be very sore. I would say the actual piercing probably hurts like around an eight. It's not the worse pain ever and it's over fast. Getting my tats hurt more.
