Three qestions below: 1)I want to buy a ring, but i am not sure about my ring size. The ring that i want to buy is made in China but i am from Greece and we measure differently the sizes.I tried to measure my finger with that paper trick,it showed 6cm but i went to the jewelry shop and he said that i have size 12.However,i measured my ring that fits perfectly to my finger and it showed 6cm.2)Lets assume that my size is 6, e-bay has also a size 6 but i am not sure if we mean the same 6 size.3)in addition lets say that 6 is my size but should i buy a size bigger or exactly that.Three qestions below: 1)I want to buy a ring, but i am not sure about my ring size. The ring that i want to buy is made in China but i am from Greece and we measure differently the sizes.I tried to measure my finger with that paper trick,it showed 6cm but i went to the jewelry shop and he said that i have size 12.However,i measured my ring that fits perfectly to my finger and it showed 6cm.2)Lets assume that my size is 6, e-bay has also a size 6 but i am not sure if we mean the same 6 size.3)in addition lets say that 6 is my size but should i buy a size bigger or exactly that.
Honestly, I would discourage this completely. China exports stuff that often has some odd metals that cause reactions - or worse yet, contain lead. Anything like that could make you very sick - it's really not worth the risk. That having said, a local jeweler can help size your finger - but again, you should only ever buy jewelry from someone you know you can trust - and this ain't them.
I'm not going to be much help I feel, but in the UK we use letters then double letters but you can ask the seller if they also sell a ring sizer and then if they're willing to take the cost off the price of the ring if you buy it. That way you both know you'll be happy with it. Oh, look, here's a page with a comparison chart, yay!
