I'm a girl. 20 years old. 5"2 and 108 pounds. My hips are pretty big for my body. My thighs are bigger than I would like them to be. My upper body is super-thin (relatively) when I compare it to my lower. I've a lot of leggings, jeggings and a pair of jeans. I plan on buying more pants. what would you suggest for me? I'm desperate to make my thighs and hips look smaller. what type of pants should I purchase? I think bootcut or straight leg jeans would make your legs look slimmer than either skinny jeans or leggings. What ever style you choose make sure they are not high-rise. Also avoid super-low rise jeans. Choose mid or low rise in jeans.

Do you own a pair of well cut dress slacks? A pair of these will last you for years and the right pair will make your legs look amazing. A good pair is expensive though. If you own a pair of dress slacks or you aren't likely to be needing them for work, job interview, high class dating then I would go the jeans in either a straight leg or skinny cut. Not bootcut, they just make your legs look like fat sticks.
