I'm going into the 8th grade next year, and I'm tired of the boring clothes I've been wearing. I want to go for that "grunge" look for the new year... but all the inspiration pictures I see all the girls are wearing super short shorts (and overalls) with tights, super shorts dresses, or ripped all the way up jeans. I know that's the look, but my school, though not having uniforms, does have a strict dress code where shorts/dresses/skirts cannot be anymore shorter then 2 inches above the knee, and we cant have holes in our pants above the knee (sometimes we can have tights/leggings on underneath but if its an obnoxious amount they send you home for the day).... Grunge? I thought that went out in '94.
