Do you have any navy blue pants or good khakis? Black pants are OK if that's all you have, but they're awfully drk for summer. If you have, khakis or navy pants blue blazer and a light blue Oxford button down shirt would be better, and yes - love bow ties! If the black and white combo is all you have, it's perfectly fine - look into some of the softer colors later when they're on sale. They're always good to have anyway.
