I just got the piercing today. I started cleaning it using non scented antibacterial soap, putting it on a Q-tip and moving it around the piercing, when I tried to rotate the earring to clean it better, it hurt and wouldn't move. Dissolve the rock salt in a hot water. Or you can get a spray ear cleaner from the chemist. You should move it in and out so the inside of your piercing can be cleanses too. But don't twist it. And make sure you wash your hands before you do it or before you touch your piercing. Don't forget to clean your piercing ball as well and the back part. Clean it twice a day for 3 days. After 3 days just once a day. In a week or so you will be able to sleep on that but not fully.
