Thongs will definately give trouble to you for long time use in the day; even in night also. The wedging action (compression from all sides due to elastic nature) is most painful but it is up to person if to go for a thong or not. If you bare with pain then nothing like it. In any clothing style, it can be used.

You eventually get use to it

It's annoying and quite uncomfortable but it looks so much better in jeans lol so we deal with it
